If you are an introverted writer we will find ways to reach success that do not include activities like public speaking. If you love engaging with people but have difficulty focusing we will find ways to successfully plan and complete tasks. If you feel constantly overwhelmed we will work on project management and time management skills. If you are horrible at bookkeeping we will find you the resources to successfully run your business. |

Creativity Strategized!

The Creativity Strategized! program runs for 12 weeks. At the end of the program you will have a full plan for your creative business and be able to clearly communicate it to others through a Vision Statement, Mission Statement and Business Map Canvas (tools that are standard in the world of business).
We start by exploring who you are and what you want. What are you passionate about? What are you good at? What do you value? From there we define a unique strategy for actualizing your creative work in a way that works for you. Once we have a vision for where you want to go we start to plan for how to get there. What aspects of your life, your personality, your work are affecting your ability to earn income from you art? How do you stay inspired in the face of business and creative challenges? We also look strategically. What makes your work unique compared to similar creatives? Is there anything in the environment that could jeopardize the success of your project or practice? We then create a type of business plan that places your work solidly in the market so that you can earn income from your work. To do this we ask: How do others relate to your work? What are the myriad of ways your fans can financially support your work? Who can you bring on your team? (You may be surprised to find partners and collaborators who would be overjoyed to assist manifest your vision.) |

Alec Franklor, CPICAlec is a Certified Professional Integrative Coach. She earned a BFA and a MA & MBA in Arts Administration, received micro-entrepreneurial training and has run her own successful micro-business since 2002. She has worked for a state arts council creating programming and overseen their grant making process, and she has applied for her own artistic grants. She has a background in photography, theater, performance art, ceramics and glassblowing, is a published writer, and has experience with most art forms.
